Therapeutic Coaching is the innovative integration of counselling and coaching. It provides the support needed to explore the underlying causes of problems as well as the structure to move forward and make changes.

I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist, as well as a Fusion Certified Therapeutic Coach, and have a grounding in psychology. Personal Consultancy is a model of therapeutic practice which enables the strengths of various counselling and coaching approaches to be integrated in a systemic way to address a wide range of needs. Which approaches and techniques are used depends on what you would like to achieve from the support and can be discussed at a consultation appointment.

My practice is trauma-informed. This means I view behaviour as adaptive to the environment in which it is produced. Patterns of behaviour which once seemed helpful can become problematic and difficult to change. Therapeutic coaching can offer you the insight you need to understand what is happening as well as empower you to make the changes you would like to make.

Qualifications

Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching

Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Children and Young People.

BSc Hons Psychology degree – First Class

Diploma in Therapeutic Coaching

Years of experience in my field: Over 20 years supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in schools and 3 years as a volunteer with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
